Your Game
We are looking for an experienced UI Lead to guide the design, development, and delivery of intuitive, engaging, and player-focused user interfaces. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional UI team, shape how features are represented and experienced through the game’s UI, and collaborate closely with Game Design, Engineering, Production, Art, Web, and other disciplines to deliver an exceptional player experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop the UI team, fostering a collaborative, self-organized, and high-performing environment
Own and design game UI features, ensuring they are intuitive, functional, and aligned with gameplay goals
Translate game design requirements into clear UI concepts, user flows, interaction models, and implementation-ready solutions
Review and maintain the quality, consistency, usability, and player experience of UI features across the game
Collaborate closely with Game Design, Engineering, Production, Art, Web, and other disciplines to deliver cohesive user experiences
Plan team priorities, coordinate deliverables, and ensure UI milestones are met
Support UI implementation decisions by providing guidance on workflows, technical constraints, and feature feasibility
Continuously improve UI processes, documentation, pipelines, and best practices
Act as the primary point of contact for UI-related topics across the project
Support team growth through recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and regular performance feedback
Your Talent
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in game design, UI design, UX design, or a closely related game development role
Extensive experience designing player-facing game systems, user flows, interaction models, or complex feature interfaces
Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating designers, UI specialists, or cross-functional feature teams
Solid understanding of game design principles, UX principles, information hierarchy, and player-centered design
Proven ability to translate gameplay, system, and feature requirements into clear and effective UI solutions
Strong understanding of how game UI is implemented in modern game engines, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal and written) in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Senior or Lead Game Designer role
Experience shipping MMO, AAA, AA, or live-service games
Experience working closely with UI engineers, technical artists, or gameplay engineers on UI implementation
Experience owning, shipping and maintaining complete game features
Familiarity with UI prototyping, implementation workflows, motion design, or UI animation
Experience establishing UI design systems, style guides, and production pipelines
Strong familiarity with MMORPGs or comparable games, either as an active player or through extensive past play experience
